The Junior Games this year will take place at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium on Saturday 10th October.

This is a fantastic event where young people with limb difference or other physical impairment can try out new sports in a safe and supportive environment and meet other young amputees and their families. It’s the perfect opportunity to find out what you can do…

Organisers, LimbPower say:
“This is a wonderful event for young amputees and children with limb impairments including congenital limb absence, limb difference, club foot, hip dysplasia, polio, spina bifida, and cerebral palsy. Wheelchair users are welcome to join us. Children aged 11-18 are invited to take part in a range of sports and physical activities to aid their physical, social and psychological well-being. Siblings are welcome to attend and join in as long as a booking from has been signed and completed.

The Games is also a great opportunity for parents to meet other like-minded parents and share thoughts and ideas. Previous parents have said they have made lifelong friends form taking part in these events. ”
